November musing...

Photography is something I enjoy (passionately enjoyed once) but most times I am too lazy to do something about it... Unless I don't feel an adrenaline rush, I don't push myself anymore.... Life has become too hectic and I am addicted to mobile surfing lately...
I've become too mundane and I guess I've adjusted this way now... Anything out of ordinary doesn't excite me any more, in fact it makes me feel stressed...
Now and then, I take photos. Most times, I take only so that the sensor doesn't get fungus like it happened with my previous cameras and lenses...
I've also invested in a dry cabinet and I am not sure as of now how fool proof it will be so I feel the need to take out the cameras and do some working every now and then...
These are some of the photos from the current season... It's almost winter here now...

Morshing Village, West Kameng, Arunachal Pradesh

Morshing is one of the Tri village and it is in  middle of Domkho and Sanglem. The village is very dense as compared to the other two village. The village is beautiful and has very clean and well organized structure... I'll certainly update more photos of Morshing as days goes by because I've not taken much photos of the place...

Saw three men with a cute tiny puppy outside a shop in Morshing village

This man was an interesting character wearing animal hide and traditional hat...

Kalaktang Diaries

I am posted in Kalaktang, West Kameng, Arunachal Pradesh.
The place is well connected via road to different places of West Kameng town/ villages and with neighbouring state Assam.
Guwahati, International airport is around 6 hours from the town.
It also shares its international border with Bhutan.
The people here are majorly Monpas and also we has Sherdukpen and Bropas living around the area.
The place is scenic and rustic, a good place for touring and home-stay.
People follow Mahayana form of Buddhism.

River flowing through Kalaktang Town

This is a place to burn pyre... One can see such construction in every corners of the entire district... It makes me feel respectful of the place and understand that after we die, we become one with the nature...

Prayer flags are posted everywhere, from road to houses, from farms to shops, etc... This a resting place along the way to Tenzingang...

This is a Gompa in Samdrung village. The Gompa is very small but it is a reflection of Tiger's nest Gompa of Bhutan
