Morshing Village, West Kameng, Arunachal Pradesh

Morshing is one of the Tri village and it is in  middle of Domkho and Sanglem. The village is very dense as compared to the other two village. The village is beautiful and has very clean and well organized structure... I'll certainly update more photos of Morshing as days goes by because I've not taken much photos of the place...

Saw three men with a cute tiny puppy outside a shop in Morshing village

This man was an interesting character wearing animal hide and traditional hat...

Warm hospitality yet again shown by the Ama (mother in Monpa language). She made us tea and offered us beaten corn which is a snack in this part of the world.

The lady and the cat...

Domkho Village, West Kameng, Arunachal Pradesh

Domkho is a scenic village nestled in a valley. It is about 57 kms from Kalaktang. It is one of the tri- Monpa village.
We had an office training for the village women Self Help Group here and I had a nice chance to take some photos from the village...

Weaved Khabje

I love this scene... It was outside the training hall. Few women were cooking for us... A lady was attending someone else's child and kids were running about... The dog and me just observed everyone...

Milk and Khabje offred again in a lady's house... Milk is an essential part this side. People rear cows for milk and meat but mostly for the former as they make cheese known as Churpi out of it and it is their stable food.

Sichuan pepper... Sichuan is also used in their cuisine a lot for making side dishes... It was my first time to see the Sichuan pepper...

Abandoned Govt. construction...

Lovely Shergaon
